Resilience in action:

Tend & Befriend

When life gets stressful, we often think we’re supposed to manage it all on our own. But research shows otherwise. Under pressure the nervous system has another option beyond fight, flight or freeze: it’s called tend and befriend. This response is about reaching out, caring for one another, and finding safety in community. In other words, we’re built to heal together.

In this 90-minute pop-up, our founder and nervous system coach, Jenn will guide you through nervous system-centered practices from the Viasomatic Method that help de-escalate stress, expand your inner resources, and remind your body what safety feels like. Think of it as a reset button for your system, an opportunity to practice tools you can return to whenever life feels overwhelming.

This gathering is not only about tending our own nervous systems, but also about extending care outward. This pop-up is free to attend, but we invite you to join us in supporting To Write Love on Her Arms, an organization that brings hope and resources to those struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. Your participation and generosity ripple outward in ways you may never fully see, but that matter deeply.

Come Home to Safety in Your Body

Safety isn’t only about your surroundings—it’s also about what lives inside you. With breath and body-based tools, you’ll rediscover that steady ground within yourself that feels rooted, present, and alive.

Find Connection, Not Just Coping

Healing is never meant to be a solo act. Together, we’ll co-create a space for release and restoration—for being seen, supported, and reminded that collective care is possible, even across a screen.

Rest Like You Deserve It (Because You Do)

Rest is not weakness; it’s medicine. You’ll be guided into deep parasympathetic states of recovery, where your body can exhale, reset, and remember its wholeness.

Reclaim the Intelligence of Your Body

Your body is not the problem—it’s the storyteller, the compass, the witness. Learn to listen with compassion, honor its signals, and come home to yourself without shame or judgment.

Resilience Is Still Possible

When the world feels overwhelming, resilience can seem out of reach. But your capacity for recovery lives in you. Together, with breath, movement, stillness, and solidarity, we’ll nurture it back to life.
