BIPOC Mental Health Awareness Month

July is BIPOC Mental Health Awareness Month. A reminder that rest, healing, and support are vital for communities too often overlooked or underserved. This session is a space to refill your cup. To feel what needs to be felt. And to root back into your power.

We’re gathering in support of Colors of Austin Counseling, a local Austin organization expanding access to culturally affirming therapy for communities of color.

This 90-minute session is led by yoga therapist and Viasomatic nervous system coach Jenn Wooten. She’ll guide you through somatic tools, breath practices, and restorative techniques designed to discharge stress and remind your system what it feels like to be supported.

Because the work of liberation isn’t just out there in our work and community engagement. It lives in our body, too.

Come Home to Safety in Your Body

Safety isn’t just about what’s around you; it’s about what’s within you. Through breath and body-based tools, you’ll reconnect with a steady place inside yourself that feels grounded, present, and alive.

Rest Like You Deserve It (Because You Do)

True rest isn’t passive. It’s powerful. You’ll be guided into deep parasympathetic states of nervous system recovery, so your body can exhale, reset, and return to a sense of wholeness.

Reclaim the Intelligence of Your Body

Your body is not the problem, it’s the storyteller, the compass, the witness. Learn to listen with compassion, follow its cues, and come back to yourself without shame or judgment.

When the world feels like too much, resilience can feel out of reach. But your capacity for recovery lives in you. Let’s nurture it together, with breath, movement, stillness, and solidarity.
