Frequently Asked Questions

Why We Do What We Do...

It is continuously a process, but learning how to reconnect with my nervous system in moments of distress has allowed stress to move through me instead of remaining stuck in my shoulders, hips, or back of the heart. Engaging with my body through the lens of the nervous system and working with Jenn from Viasomatic has completely shifted my awareness of how I respond to stress, triggers and process complex emotions.

AILISHA M

Doing this work literally saved my life! I became equipped with tools to bring myself back to center when things feel out of control and my whole life transformed. Scary episodes began to disappear altogether as I developed an inner knowing that whatever happens, I know how to handle it.

RITA A
I started working with Viasomatic with the hope that I could have less anxiety and feel better. I have a history of complex trauma and that has impacted my life in many ways. Working with Viasomatic has given me the tools help me regulate my nervous system and move into a more comfortable place in my body. This has been life-changing for me!
SARAH S
I started Viato address chronic anxiety and rumination that has been with me since I was a child. After my first session, I felt an influx of relief, which manifested as tender and comprehensive self-compassion. Further sessions continued to expand my capacity for embodiment and self-love, two things that my traumatic experiences had taken from me a long time ago. Since working with Viasomatic I’ve been able to savor true presence in my life, which has revolutionized my experience as a mother in particular.
LAUREN F
My experience with Jenn has been tremendously positive. I have learned a lot on how to regulate my nervous system with her Viasomatic therapy. The impact of the tools that I received from her sessions has changed the awareness of my body as a whole. I feel more in charge when any challenges arrive and how I react to it.
FABIANA R
My goals going in were primarily to work through trauma and generally feel balanced so that I am able to regulate my body. I felt seen, safe, and comfortable. Jenn's ability to pull things out of me that I was oblivious to was amazing. She brought feelings and experiences that I was holding in my body to the surface, and then helped me work through them physically.
I have never experienced anything like that before.
ALEJANDRA W

As an emergency physician, I appreciate knowing that Viasomatic is a tool that I can provide to patients who are experiencing crises that are not well-treated by medications or missed by many of our diagnostic tools. It has eased my conscience to be able to provide options other than pharmaceuticals or traditional counseling for people who feel out of control due to life stresses, chronic pain, and trauma.

I have worked with Jenn personally as a client and I have been consistently struck by her breadth of knowledge, her caring, and her perceptiveness about the sources of people's trauma and pain. I will continue to use the techniques she taught me to calm my own nervous system, and I will continue to recommend her work to my patients and my family without reservation.

Stefan Jensen, MD
This program should be mandatory for life. It's a framework for understanding and appreciating not only my nervous system, but also those around me. This single thing was huge. It made me much less reactive to others and helped me be much more compassionate in situations that I would have previously been dismissive or defensive about.

Lindsey Jensen

(she/her) Lead Developer
Hi, I’m Lindsey Jensen. I graduated from UT Austin with a degree in Linguistics, but my career quickly shifted into project management for an online education company. From there, I explored technical consulting for internet marketing firms, where I gained valuable experience working across diverse industries. I initially completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training without the intention of teaching, but the experience opened my eyes to the profound benefits of yoga. That curiosity eventually led me to co-found two ventures in 2019—one in fintech and the other in yoga and wellness.

At Viasomatic, I serve as the Lead Developer, where I build the website, program delivery platforms and manage our marketing tech stack. My background in technology, project management, and wellness aligns perfectly with Viasomatic’s mission. I’m deeply committed to supporting this work and helping others access the tools they need to thrive.
