I am a Viasomatic Nervous System coach, a certified yoga therapist, a trauma-informed somatics educator, and the founder of Viasomatic. I specialize in nervous system health and recovery from stress and trauma. I’ve had the privilege of supporting Olympic athletes, medical doctors, energy healers, mental health specialists, and individuals with complex trauma and chronic illness in navigating their nervous system health and recovery. I’m passionate about helping you learn how to self-regulate, build resilience, release chronic stress and trauma, and restore balance in your nervous system.

I spent many of my formative adolescent years after school in a rehab center with my sister, after she suffered a traumatic brain injury, observing movement specialists who helped people rebuild their lives after traumatic experiences. Those formative years taught me that the body is the roadmap to recovery and resilience.

While attending the University of Texas at Austin, I stumbled into an on-campus yoga class and instantly recognized it as a powerful tool for navigating life’s challenges and finding resilience through challenging experiences. Yoga and somatic practices have been my primary tool for healing from complex trauma and working with my own neurodivergence. These practices have guided me through births, deaths and everything in between. 

Now, with over two decades of professional experience in the field of yoga, somatics, and mindfulness, my work now is primarily guiding somatic practitioners and mental and medical health professionals to use movement for recovery from nervous system dysregulation and post-traumatic stress. Through this platform, we offer effective practices for regulating the nervous system and recovering nervous system health from stress, anxiety and trauma - tools which have enhanced my own well-being in immeasurable ways. 

I do this work to create the conditions for post-traumatic growth - the resilience to grow emotionally and psychologically in the wake of life’s challenges. None of us get through life without challenges, but working with our nervous system can carry us far. I am committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive space where you can move your nervous system.
